The News-Sentinel selected the eight finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school football player who you feel had the best performance during the weekend. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Offense Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.

Brandon Phelps, Snider — Was 17-of-30 for 262 passing yards and a team-high 47 rushing yards. He also had two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown to help lead Snider to an overtime comeback victory against Fishers.

Quinton Daniels, Snider — Caught six passes for a game-high 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns as Snider rallied from a fourth quarter deficit to beat Fishers in the regionals.

Brenton Lockett, Heritage — Had two interceptions against Mishawaka Marian in Heritage's season-ending loss. He also on offense had a game-high 99 receiving yards, including a 58-yard touchdown catch.

Conner Sheehan, Heritage — Threw for a game-high 386 yards and two touchdowns as Heritage lost to Mishawaka Marian 42-20 in the regional round.

Cody Miller, Bishop Dwenger — Was 15-of-29 for 227 passing yards and added 14 rushing yards in Bishop Dwenger's regional loss to Concord.

Jaylon Smith, Bishop Luers — Had two rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter and finished with three total touchdowns to help lead Bishop Luers past Tipton in its regional game.

Andy Noll, Carroll — Made five tackles and had the Chargers' only interception in its season-ending loss to Merrillville in the regional round.

Ryan Cinadr, Bishop Dwenger — Rushed for three touchdowns and had 87 all-purpose yards as Bishop Dwenger lost to Concord in the regional round.
