A fire caused heavy damage Monday morning in a detached garage at 2622 McKinnie Ave., Fort Wayne firefighters report. The fire was reported at 10:01 a.m. Firefighters arrived there at 10:05 and had it under control at 10:15. Firefighters said the garage sustained heavy smoke, fire and water damage. No one was hurt in the fire, and firefighters are still investigating its cause.
