The News-Sentinel selected the 12 finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school football player who you feel had the best performance during the weekend. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Offense Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.

Bayden Lee, Carroll — Kicked a 32-yard game-winning field goal with less than 15 seconds left in the game to give Carroll a victory against South Bend Adams.

Piercen Harnish, Norwell — Had a game-high 173 passing yards and 135 rushing yards, including a 2-yard touchdown run for Norwell's only touchdown in its loss to Bishop Dwenger.

Andy Noll, Carroll — Had a team-high nine tackles and had an interception that he returned 45 yards for a touchdown as Carroll defeated South Bend Adams to win the sectional championship

Conner Sheehan, Heritage — Was 23-of-36 for 316 passing yards and threw five touchdowns in Heritage's upset victory against No. 1 Jimtown in the sectional finals.

Drue Tranquill, Carroll — Scored three touchdowns and led Carroll with 63 rushing yards in its sectional final victory against South Bend Adams.

Ben Gibson, Heritage — Had three touchdown receptions and a team-high 78 receiving yards as Heritage upset Jimtown 40-29 to win the sectional championship.

Je'Norie Smith, Snider — Rushed for a game-high 130 yards and scored the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter as Snider beat North Side to win a sectional championship.

Anthony Linnear, North Side — Had a team-high 23 carries and 100 rushing yards, including an 8-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, as North Side lost to Snider in the sectional finals.

Quinton Daniels, Snider — Returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown to help Snider overcome a first-half deficit and defeat North Side in its sectional final game.

Ryan Watercutter, Bishop Dwenger — Caught a game-high eight passes for 117 yards, including a 18-yard touchdown reception. He also had an interception in the endzone late in the fourth quarter to secure Bishop Dwenger's victory against Norwell.

Jason Nicodemus, Churubusco — Carried the ball a game-high 33 times and led Churubusco with 143 rushing yards in its season-ending loss to Bishop Luers.

Jaylon Smith, Bishop Luers — Rushed for a team-high 137 and scored two touchdowns in Bishop Luers sectional final victory against Churubusco.
