GREENWOOD — Democratic and Republican volunteers are spending a final cold and rainy weekend before Election Day urging their supporters to vote.Democrats who met Saturday afternoon at a union hall in Greenwood south of Indianapolis picked up disposable cell phones and instructions for rallying voters. Democrats boast 20 get-out-the-vote centers around the state.

Republicans claim 15 such centers, but two of those are "travelling" operations. Republican field representative Jenna Knepper says she lugs around telephones and an Internet server she can set up anywhere with an Internet connection.

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is expected to easily carry Indiana and Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence looks headed to victory over Democrat John Gregg. But Democratic Senate candidate Joe Donnelly appears poised for an upset over Republican Richard Mourdock.
