President Obama's attack on freedom of religion far outweighs Mr. Mourdock's belief.
Apple just introduced the smaller iPad mini. They were going to introduce a larger version but thought the Maxi-pad might cause confusion.
Physicians and physician assistants attend many years of school to learn medicine. They have to maintain board certifications and have a license in order to practice medicine. So when did it become appropriate for patients to tell them how to practice medicine? Why do people feel so entitled? It is sad.
Rape nor anything resulting from it (injury, pregnancy, disease, death) are not a gift from God.
Contrary to what many conservative politicians seem to believe, poor people do not deserve to suffer.
Capitalism seems to reward a few at the expense of the many. Ethical and honest people have a tougher time getting ahead.
I am so tired of seeing and hearing the liberals stupidly twist what people say and mean. Life is what God intends. Life. Not rape. How ignorant can you get? Or are you just not paying attention?
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have the least foreign policy experience of any presidential ticket in recent memory. Does anyone remember that the president of the United States is commander in chief? Does anyone think that Mitt Romney really cares about anything but financial matters?
According to Mr. Mourdock, a woman would be forced to carry her rapist's fetus to term. Of course, he knows what God intends, so it's all OK.
A nice restaurant on Lima Road, close to Meijer, had a great waiter, the apple of our eyes, who had been there for a long time and who was treated poorly by management and was forced to leave. Now these two lady bees won't be back.
Get out and vote! Really, voting is choosing between a 1 and a 2 when a 10 is the best choice for the United States of America.
Trick or treat in Fort Wayne 6-8 p.m.? Too late, too dark, too dangerous. What a brilliant town this is.
It's one thing to lose soldiers in combat. It's another thing to have an ambassador unprotected, knowing it and doing nothing about it.
To all the local businesses that show their politics or religious beliefs: My family will never support you. If you make a good sandwich or sell a great product, fine, but leave everything else out of it. Same goes with having your kids or grandkids on your commercials. Not cute.
Why is it that Republicans piously intone about the immorality of leaving our grandchildren in debt, but deny and run away from the immorality of leaving our grandchildren with an uninhabitable planet due to climate change? Maybe they'd be taken more seriously if they exhibited some consistency!
Sperm and egg create a new body, and God implants a soul. A new human individual, most vulnerable of all human beings, begins life's journey. No one has the right to take this life.
In the tender compassion of our God, the dawn from on high shall break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:78-79
As a college student, it offends me that our president targets the young as likely votes for him. He should not assume we are all gullible and will fall for his rhetoric. My circle of friends carefully pay attention to facts that affect all Americans and will vote accordingly. Women and minorities should feel likewise instead of being a target of either party.
Why no more tax returns from Mitt? Read this article! “Mitt Romney's bailout bonanza.” Millions gained on the backs of thousands of American workers. Jobs sent overseas. Money in tax haven — Isles of Jersey, off the shores of France. He'll be good for America? Only for the rich!
Republicans are going after women's rights and their families. Cut food stamps, Pell grants, Planned Parenthood (they provide contraceptives, mammograms and Pap tests for lower-income women) … . Romney has flip-flopped on so many issues you need a scoreboard to keep track!
Politics isn't going to bring this country down. It's the 24-hour connectivity that everyone feels they must have to everyone else. Go watch a sunset. Get up and look at a sunrise. Walk outside and look up at the stars. Clear your mind. Just don't tweet about it.
Teachers are not voting for (Glenda) Ritz just because she's not (Tony) Bennett. We are voting for her because she stands for what's best for kids, not big business. Bennett should not be re-elected just because he's good at raising money. He's good at taking money away from schools and directing teachers to teach only to get kids to pass a test.
