•Jenna Benzing of Fort Wayne is enrolled at the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio. She is a 2012 graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School.•The Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Saint Francis is making materials from its annual CEO Forum available as a classroom resource for high school business teachers as part of its CEO Forum Education Initiative.

•Jennifer Lapsley, a licensed practical nurse and a student at the University of Saint Francis, received a scholarship from the John Miles family for her service in caring for him.

•The University of Evansville announced David Patton, a resident of Wolcottville, was honored at the Heritage Federal Credit Union Student-Athlete Academic Honors Breakfast Sept. 27.

•Indiana Tech admissions office will host an Academic Exploration Day 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 10 at 1600 E. Washington Blvd. Prospective students for fall 2013 will have the opportunity to meet faculty members and explore Indiana Tech degree programs. •Culver-Stockton College announced Sean McAvoy, a senior history major from Bluffton, was recently inducted into the Alpha Eta Lambda chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society.

•The Department of Geosciences at IPFW will dedicate the Argast Family Imaging and Analysis Lab at 1 p.m. Friday in the Science Building, Room 263.•These Canterbury Middle School students have been selected to the 2012 Northern Indiana All-Region Middle School Orchestra: Sarah Diem, violin, Grade 8; Sophia Slates, violin, Grade 7; and Elise Wellman, viola, Grade 8. The students will rehearse and present a concert in November in Mishawaka.

•Hope Christian School, a new K-12 Christian school opening in August 2013, will hold an open house at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Life Church, 900 E. State St., Huntington. Life Church is the future site of Hope Christian School.

•Bishop Dwenger High School will hold an open house for Grades 5-8 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 8 at 1300 E. Washington Center Road.

•The Educational Opportunity Center will hold an international fair 4-7 p.m. Nov. 7 at 3000 South Wayne Ave.
