Romney/Ryan clueless how rest of us live
With the 21st century primary between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama, the Democratic Party succeeded in driving racists and misogynists hiding in the dark corners of our tent.
Not coincidentally, since that election, the tea party has risen to devour not only the Republican Party but every conspiracy theory that has hit the wires. I know how disappointing it can be when your team loses, but the simple fact is an uncontested majority voted Obama in. These years of nonstop paranoid posits are stupid and have only compounded the huge problems created by eight years of Bush’s swaggering leadership.
Let’s not forget Bush/Cheney blew the chance to stop the 9/11 attack. That led to a trillion-plus-dollar war sold to us on crap information (unlike the intelligence warning of the 9/11 plot) against a county who had nothing to do with that attack. Meanwhile, the actual mastermind prayed, propagated and planned in relative comfort and security for nearly a decade. The leader of the free world, democratically elected President Obama and the administration these tea party supporters hold in such disdain finally saw to the killing of bin Laden.
Today the same people who sold the country G.W, the Iraq war and economic collapse, such as Karl Rove and the Koch brothers, swear they hold the prescription for our health and wellbeing. Return to the policies of trickle-down economics and inept foreign actions.
I believe no one party or person gets everything right all the time. I believe some people are blinded by an insatiable lust for money. I believe the Rolls-Royce duo and their band of billionaire backers are clueless about how the “rest of us” live. Romney/Ryan see nothing wrong with vacuuming all the power and wealth to the top tier. Don’t give them the chance!
Mainstream media biased toward Obama
When will it end? Never, say I, unless the American people wake up and realize how biased the so-called “mainstream media” is toward the president.
The disgraceful pandering and preferential treatment Candy Crowley gave President Obama in the recent “debate” is a prime example. (Even with the bias, Gov. Romney held his own.)
News events that are critical or less than flattering toward the president are conveniently overlooked, given lip service or buried on Page 6, second section. This happens time and again, but let a conservative make one tiny miscue and it’s breaking headline news, investigative reporting to follow.
Sad but true, when one philosophy (in the USA it’s the liberal agenda) is strongly favored by the mass media, that society is in for a rude awakening when all is said and done. Don’t be lemmings, Americans, don’t be blind followers, think for yourselves.
