Lines of customers were wrapped around the interior of the Arby's restaurant at 610 W. Jefferson Blvd. at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. A staff member said they had predicted giving away 500 roaster turkey sandwiches during the giveaway with coupons in Fort Wayne Newspapers' daily papers 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, but they expected to reach that amount by 1 p.m. The store ended up handing out 803 sandwiches, with all Fort Wayne stores giving away more than 12,500 sandwiches.
