Sarah Palin set to stop here Nov. 19 on book tour
Meijer officials say plans are “up in the air.”
From staff reports

Sarah Palin, the former candidate for vice president and ex-governor of Alaska, is scheduled to return to Fort Wayne as part of the promotional tour for her book, “Going Rogue.”

Palin is expected to be at the Meijer at 10301 Maysville Road on Nov. 19. Store manager David Smith could not confirm Palin's visit, saying plans are currently “up in the air” as Meijer officials attempt to determine if they can handle crowd-control measures. Smith said a decision will be made Monday.

Palin came to Fort Wayne in October 2008, while she was on the GOP ticket with Arizona Sen. John McCain. That race was ultimately won by Barack Obama, who is the nation's 44th president.
